Abstract:

In my talk I will briefly discuss the ubiquitous nature of temporal information in our sensory environment, as well as the potential presence of internally generated temporal codes. The remainder of my talk will address how neurons get together to tell time and decode temporal patterns. Towards this end I will present psychophysical, computational, and electrophysiological studies in may lab aimed at addressing this question.
